Patrick trained in some of the leading Irish Hotels and Restaurants
including the Jurys Hotel Group and the Commons Restaurant before
embarking on a career overseas which saw him tending to the needs of
various Heads of State onboard such luxury cruise liners as
Vistafjord as a member of the Dining Room Team, aboard Queen
Elizabeth 2 (QE2) as Sommelier and most recently as part of the
Start-Up Management of the Queen Mary 2, the world's largest and
most luxurious vessel. Patrick is a graduate of DIT, Cathal Brugha
Street, Dublin, a member of the Irish Hotel & Catering Institute and
a founder of
Barkeeper.ie, Ireland's largest Food & Beverage Website.
Barry Chandler MIHI
Director
Barry has spent the last ten years in the hospitality industry in
Ireland and overseas. From trainee management in Adare Manor,
Limerick to the Sheraton Hotel Chain in Austria, as Food & Beverage
Controller with Cunard Line and Seabourn Cruise Line in Miami to
Restaurant Management with the Sweeney Hotel Group in Galway to name
but a few of the stops he has made in this time.
Barry is a graduate of the Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management
in Salzburg, Austria, a member of the Irish Hospitality Institute
and a committee member of the Young Irish Hospitality Institute.
